Lyse and Norsk Vind look forward to the further cooperation on the wind power plant, said Rune Hersvik, Director of Sustainability and Communication.
Norsk Vind and Lyse enter into an agreement on the transfer of the Måkaknuten wind farm (66MW), located in Bjerkreim and Gjesdal municipalities. Måkaknuten wind farm was licensed in 2012 and is a part of the Bjerkreim cluster. Norsk Vind is the largest owner in the Bjerkreim cluster with the wind projects Bjerkreim, Gravdal and Skinansfjellet.
Norsk Vind plans to develop and build Måkaknuten wind power plant together with the other wind farms in the area. Construction start is expected in the second half of 2017. With this, Norsk Vind will strengthen its position as Norway’s largest privately owned wind power developer.
The agreement entails a transitional period during which Norsk Vind and Lyse will work together on the further development of Måkaknuten wind power plant.
