Zaptec has experienced rapid growth over the recent years, and is now opening the first Zaptec office outside of Scandinavia, with Guy Haydon as the new UK Managing Director at Zaptec.
Haydon has previously worked with international business development for a company building electric motorcycles in the Czech Republic. After returning to the UK, he joined Instavolt, helping to expand their rapid charge network across the UK. Following this he moved to Siemens where as Head of Sales he led the expansion of that business across EV charger supply, install and maintenance.
Haydon now joins Zaptec to set up the UK office located in the Midlands. I am excited to be joining Zaptec and to have the opportunity to launch this fantastic brand in the UK, said Haydon. He is motivated by driving the growth of EV uptake and the charging infrastructure to support it, working to lower carbon emissions and create a cleaner future. Smart, reliable, user-friendly charging is crucial to accelerating EV uptake, and Zaptec has a proven record of delivering excellent customer solutions, Haydon concluded.
