Colonor has started the initial groundwork for the new data center which is located on lower Kilemoen in Ringerike municipality. Further construction is scheduled to start in the spring and the data center will be finalized towards the end of this year, says Kjetil Hove Pettersen, CEO at Colonor.
Colonor and its German partner Aquila Capital focuses on the European market as they prepare to sell capacity to end customers who take their machines to Kilemoen. This is Aquila Capital’s first investment in the Norwegian data center market through its newly established subsidiary AQ Compute.
