Fishglobe Technologies welcomes Tor Magne Madsen as its new CEO, effective June 1, succeeding Tor Hellestøl. Madsen, previously the deputy CEO and a key figure in the company’s international efforts, brings extensive leadership experience from the oil and gas industry. «I’m proud and motivated to lead Fishglobe forward. This is just the beginning, and I’m eager to work tirelessly to realize our potential,» says Tor Magne Madsen, CEO at Fishglobe Technologies.
The company has emerged as a leader in developing and delivering floating closed-system aquaculture systems, built on proprietary and patented technologies. Last year marked a commercial breakthrough with contracts worth 500 million NOK. Tor Hellestøl, who has led the company since 2018, will transition to a new role. «It’s been an incredible journey building Fishglobe from the ground up. The team is now stronger than ever,» Hellestøl reflects on his tenure.
