Amon states today that the company has been granted funding to support the detailed engineering of the foundation. The work will be carried out in 2021, and if the company succeeds in this phase, the next step will be the construction of the foundation.
The grant from Innovation Norway is important to carry out the detailed engineering of the foundations we want to produce, says Jan Hestås, chairman of the board at Amon. The company aims to develop a cost-effective and frequent production of foundations that can finalizw offshore wind turbines inland and be towed out to the project site.
Amon are dedicated to build a pilot installation. It is important that we can show a complete offshore wind turbine that produces clean energy, Hestås concludes.
