ICON Systems has through its partnership with Fish Globe AS, signed a new contract for the supply of equipment and systems for their next fish farm. The contract is of great importance for ICON Systems, both for the operation and development of the company, as it provides work for about 5 employees and will contribute to the further development of our fully integrated monitoring and control system, SALMATIC ™, says Pedersen.
The FishGlobe fish farm is an atonomous, floating, closed-system post-smolt fish farm that will grow the salmon from 100g to 1kg before it is delivered to traditional fish farms in the sea. The work commenced during January and the next FishGLOBE fish farm will be ready for receiving fish in November 2021.
