As part of Norsk Solar’s ambitious expansion, Mr. Mauro Benedetti has been appointed as the Country Manager for Norsk Solar to oversee and lead the company’s operations in Brazil. After working in Brazil for many years, I can see the enormous market potential, which is especially true with the competitive edge Norsk Solar has with its unique financing vehicle with FinnFund and its access to the Nordic eco-system, Benedetti concludes.
Mauro Benedetti has a long-standing track record for more than a decade within business development, legal, and project financing in the renewable energy space. He has been also a successful entrepreneur and is familiar with building companies from early beginnings to larger entities. He holds a master’s degree from the Luiss Guido Carli University, and covered senior positions at European Energy, Roncucci & Partners and KPMG, before joining Norsk Solar. Under Mauro’s leadership, Norsk Solar is planning to grow the subsidiary in Brazil with several full-time employees over the next months.
