Heaten aims to become the leading provider of next-generation industrial heat pumps, says Wendy Lam Olsen, Chairwoman at Heaten.
Heaten announces a strategic partnership with Südzucker, one of the world’s largest food producers, to decarbonize sugar and other production processes.
In early 2024, Heaten will deliver and install the first industrial heat pumps, HeatBoosters, providing high-temperature steam for a range of processes at Südzucker’s facilities.
“This partnership marks a significant milestone for Heaten. The strategic collaboration will accelerate the company’s scaling efforts as Heaten aims to become the leading provider of next-generation industrial heat pumps,” says Wendy Lam Olsen, Chairwoman at Heaten.
The HeatBooster delivers hot water or steam up to 200°C by utilizing waste heat. The heat pump offers high efficiency with unparalleled size and flexibility. The piston-based technology ranging from 1-8 MW can be combined to deliver over 50 MW. Previous versions of the machine have operated for more than 30,000 hours in the field.
